As you can see, the number of blog posts that I've done has dropped off dramatically in the last month, and for that I apologize. It's been quite a journey so far to try figuring out just how to be parents and it's definitely taken up more time than we expected. Our cute little girl doesn't always like sleeping so we haven't had as much free time as we thought we might, but that's ok because it means we get to spend more time with her.
Sometimes when we look at her we feel like she's still just this tiny little newborn, and then other times we look at her and we're amazed as to how big she seems to have gotten. I guess it just depends on if she's snuggled up on your chest or if she's squirming as you try to put a diaper on her.
I do plan to sometime go through and post photos of her that we took throughout this first month (we were pretty good at taking a photo, at least one, every single day) but I'll need to wait until we have more free time. For now, here's what our cute little girl looks like on her one month birthday. She's starting to smile some and it's just adorable. This is only a half smile, so you can imagine how cute the full thing is!

ReplyDeleteI was kinda chuckling a little when I'd pop on to check and see no updates. Yup, newborns take up A LOT of time...and the adjustment with the first baby at home is HUGE.
