We had our third ultrasound on this day. The baby continued to get bigger and the heartbeat was still incredibly strong. It was tough to not feel like at any moment things were going to go downhill because that's all we knew about pregnancies - that they never work for us. Every doctor visit was a fearful joy, almost that if we got too happy that we'd somehow jinx things. Our confidence continued to get better as time went on but it was slow.
