We had a regular OB appointment today, and even though our anatomy scan isn't until October 7th, we asked the doctor if she would be able to check to see if we were having a girl or a boy. We asked her to write it on a note card for us, as we had other plans. We closed our eyes while she did the ultrasound.
She was able to see if our miracle was a girl or a boy and we took our note card and headed straight to "our beach."
Ok, so it's not really our beach. Don't get too excited. We don't own a beach! This is, however, the beach we went to to release balloons for our little angels, the beach we always go to, and the beach where we go to take walks and talk. We couldn't think of a more perfect place to learn the sex of our baby.
We sat down in the sand together and opened the envelope.
It's a girl!!
Our first reaction? We hugged and cried and called our parents to share the news!
Shoot! I was wrong. I've never been good at guessing games. I'm thrilled for you!
