This birthday was special for multiple reasons. The obvious being that there was a cute baby girl on the way, and the second being that the day before Eric's birthday was considered our "MVP" day, or "minimum viable pregnancy" day. This meant that if worst came to worst and the baby decided it was coming out, there was a big chance that doctors would be able to save it. Given our history, this was a major victory for us, and Eric considered it the best birthday present he could ask for.
That being said, there was one birthday present I knew that he had always wanted. Eric is a huge "Labyrinth" fan and years ago we found a onesie that came from a lyric of one of the songs in the movie. Eric had always wanted it, and I knew that when the day came I would have to get it for him. Here's the face of one extremely happy and proud papa!
